ROTARY READING: At St Pius we have a weekly reading programme run by Rotary. We have volunteers who come on a Tuesday morning for an hour to listen to the children read on a one to one basis. (You have the same three children each week). The organiser of this programme at Rotary needs another volunteer for our school. We already have some parishioners from St Philomena's involved as volunteers. If you are interested please give me a ring and I will let you know what is involved. You can be old or young, male or female....we'd love to see you. You can contact Trish Walsh, Principal, St Pius X, Ph: 7534257 or email me at
