THANK YOU:  Just to say a big thank you for your generosity in “handing over” your lovely church to our extended family, for the Kings of Ireland Family Reunion Mass last Sunday.  Attending Mass at St Philomena’s was extra special for the family and one of many highlights of the Reunion, especially as one of our cousins, Jacqueline Cox, plays such an important role in children’s Liturgy in your Parish. With renewed thanks to all of you, especially on the Pastoral committee and leadership team.  Kind Regards, Geraldine (Sullivan)—great granddaughter of Andrew and Honora King.

WORLD YOUTH DAY FUNDRAISING:  We are doing the Warehouse stock take again this year.  All the money raised by our Parish will go directly to helping get our Parish Interns to World Youth Day.  12 people are needed for 9th & 10th of June and 40 people for the 11th, 12th and 13th.  We had a great turn out last year and hope to have the same again this year.  If you can help or would like more information please contact Daniel Wells, ph 7699447.

OUR LADY HELP OF CHRISTIANS:  will be holding a 12hr vigil of prayer and adoration every Friday from after 9.30am Mass until 10pm.  On the first Friday of each month the vigil will be for 24hrs.

ENROLMENTS:  We are now in the process of forward planning for 2011.  If you have a child starting school next year please give me a ring so I can make an appointment to meet with you and show you around our school.  Please let anyone you know who is thinking of St Pius as a school for their child to contact me as soon as possible.  Knowing early does help with our planning.  Thank you.
